Ontario Natural Certifications

What's in a logo? Well, a lot if you ask the very serious organic label and sustainable food certification bodies that are currently working to ensure you have natural, chemical free, food choices. Choosing organic certified food is not only a sustainable food option but is much healthier for you as well.  Even better, many of these certifying bodies also work to provide safer and more fair conditions for farmers and workers as well as organic food production methods.

  • Only products with organic content that is greater than or equal to 95% may be labeled as "Organic" or bear the organic logo.
  • Certified organic products must also bear the name of the certification body that has certified the product as organic
We're Localized! Food is better, when you know the facts. Localize removes the awkward barriers that keep people from knowing more about the stories behind their food. It enables shoppers to make educated choices while doing their everyday grocery shopping. You can find out more about a product by scanning its label in-store using a smart phone or by visiting localizeyourfood.com.

We measure products according to:
  • PRODUCTION - WHERE IT WAS MADE
  • INGREDIENTS - WHAT WENT INTO IT
  • OWNERSHIP - WHO DID THE MAKING
  • SUSTAINABILITY - HOW IT WAS DONE
